On Black Men and Dancing

This is the story of two Black men who were murdered, in large part because they were dancing. Some of you may know this, but I try to go dancing at least once or twice a week, and it's such a cathartic outlet for my soul.

There are many elements of oppression that tend to rob you of your humanity, bit by bit, and in this week's "What'd I Miss?" I wanted to touch on one of those elements.

Cori did a wonderful job visually conveying the vulnerability and love of this moment, and it's an excellent example of what makes me so happy to work with her on this comic.

Anyway, thanks again for supporting my work. As always, you get to see this comic before it's published in the Colorado Sun! Thanks, Alan
