When the news seems like a bad movie

Colorado is not the only state to have a grotesque amount of backlogged, untested rape kits, but earlier this year, an anonymous donor donated money to get them tested. As I was looking into this, I noticed that, of the other states, Utah had a crazy story related to untested rape kits, so that's where this week's WIM came from.
